50 YEARS OF THE HARBOROUGH SINGERS 1977 - 2027
We plan to mark the 50th anniversary of the Harborough Singers with a series of exciting events over a 12 month period, starting in 2027.
To start the 12 months of Celebrations we will be hosting an event to which we are inviting anyone who has sung with the Harborough Singers over its illustrious 50 year history.
On 20 March 2027 we expect more than 100 alumni to assemble in the Robert Smyth School (where it all started) for a day of socialising and singing culminating in a concert.
We are delighted to announce that Barry Clark who formed the choir will be with us for the day and by public demand he has agreed to conduct some music that established the Choir as National and European champions in the early years.
